How to Open Your 2014 Acura TSX Key Fob & Change Battery

What type battery key fob require
Prior to disassembly key fob check all that you need: one CR1616 battery, phillips head screwdriver and flat head screwdriver.- phillips head screwdriver

Simple steps to change the battery in your TSX's keyless entry remote
A small button cell battery installed inside the your keyless entry remote. Unscrew the back of the remote key fob. Flip the remote key fob over and find for at least 1 screw holding in the plastic.
Accurately try to open your key fob with pry tools. Remove 1xCR1616 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with new one CR1616. Battery must be installed with the same position as was a previous. Your key will not work if you by mistake place battery wrong way.
Before assembling fob’s case, verify that everything working properly by testing buttons on circuit board.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your shell pieces together and put it together by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your remote key fob body for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step. Screw fastener in the back of the key fob.
