How to Replace the Battery in a 2014 Audi SQ5 Key Fob

If your Audi key fob is not open doors correct, the cell battery probably needs to be replaced. It's not complicated to change the battery in your key fob, and it’s easier than you think. All you need is explained in this post.

Replacing battery in key fob require one CR2032 battery and flat head screwdriver. Prepare these materials and tools before opening and make sure to match the type of your fob’s batteries.- flat head screwdriver

Step by step guide
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed small coin cell battery. Open key first, and then try to pry apart the remote key fob.
Delicately try to pry apart your fob with pry tools. Remove CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with fresh one CR2032. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
When the new battery installed, check key fob by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your keyless entry fob's body in reverse order.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your case pieces together and put it together by hands from top to bottom. Check your remote key fob shell for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
