Don't forget before open key fob make sure that you have all required tools and materials: flat head screwdriver and 1 CR2032 battery.- flat head screwdriver

Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's key fob
Inside of your key fob installed small button cell battery. Open key first, and then try to pry apart the key fob.
Carefully try to disassemble your key fob with pry tools. Change one CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with new one CR2032. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check polarity on battery, by "+" mark.
Before assembling keyless entry fob's case, verify that everything working fine by pressing buttons on circuit board.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your shell two halves together and put it together by hands from top to bottom. Check your key fob shell for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
