How to Replace the Battery in a 2014 Ford Fusion Key Fob

Keyless entry remote allow easy access to your Fusion. When the remote key fob battery is dead or weak you lose your fob’s ability to control remote opportunities. Below, we outlined how to disassembly your car remote key fob and replace your Ford key battery.
What size battery does 2014 Ford Fusion key fob required
Before you start to disassembly remote key fob check all that you need: flat head screwdriver and 2 CR2025 batteries.- flat head screwdriver
- 2xCR2025 batteries
Step by step guide
Inside of your remote key fob installed tiny coin battery. Move the key out of the way if it is in the keyless entry remote.
Accurately try to disassemble your key fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Change 2 CR2025 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new batteries inside keyless entry fob's case. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
After the new batteries installed, verify keyless entry remote by pressing buttons. If everything working good, assemble your fob’s case in reverse order.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your case two halves together and assemble it together by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your key fob body for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
