Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's keyless entry remote
Inside of your remote key fob installed button battery. Open the key if it is in the key fob.
Gently try to open your keyless entry remote with flat head screwdriver. Replace one CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery inside fob’s body. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your key fob will not work if you put battery wrong way.
Before assembling fob’s case, verify that all is functioning by pressing buttons on remote key fob.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Delicately try to put the two halves in place by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your keyless entry remote case for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
