Simple steps to change the battery in your car's key fob
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed tiny coin cell battery. Remove any internal key before you try to pry apart the remote key fob.
Carefully try to pry apart your keyless entry remote with pry tools. Remove CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with fresh one CR2032. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check polarity on battery, by "+" mark.
After the new battery installed, verify keyless entry remote by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your fob’s case in reverse order.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your body pieces together and put it in place by hands from top to bottom. If your key fob body tightly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
