How to Replace the Battery in a 2014 Jeep Wrangler Key Fob

Before going to disassembly key fob check all that you need: flat head screwdriver and 1 CR2032 battery.- flat head screwdriver

Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's keyless entry remote
A coin cell battery installed inside the your remote key fob. Move the key out of the way if it is in the remote key fob.
Gently try to pry apart your remote key fob with flat head screwdriver. Replace 1 CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with new one CR2032. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
After the new battery installed, verify remote key fob by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your keyless entry fob's body in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Carefully try to assemble the two halves together by hands from top to bottom. Check your key shell for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
