What type battery remote key fob require
Changing battery in remote key fob require flat head screwdriver and 1xCR2032 battery. Prepare these materials and tools before opening and make sure to match the size of your fob’s batteries.- 1xCR2032 battery

Simple steps to change the battery in your car's keyless entry remote
Inside of your remote key fob installed coin cell battery. Remove any internal key before you try to pry apart the keyless entry remote.
Carefully try to pry apart your keyless entry remote with pry tools. Change 1xCR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery in fob’s case. Battery must be placed with the same position as was an old. Your remote key fob will not work if you by mistake place battery wrong way.
After the new battery installed, verify remote key fob by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your fob’s body in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Gently try to put the two halves in place by hands from top to bottom. Check your remote key fob shell for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
