Step by step instruction
A tiny button cell battery installed in the your remote key fob. Remove any internal key first, and then try to pry apart the keyless entry remote.
Carefully try to open your remote key fob with flat head screwdriver. Remove one CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with fresh one CR2032. Battery must be installed with the same polarity as was a previous. Your key will not work if you by mistake put battery wrong way.
When the new battery installed, check remote key fob functionality by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your fob’s case in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Carefully try to put the pieces in place by hands from top to bottom. If your keyless entry remote body tightly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
