Step by step guide
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed tiny coin battery. Remove any internal key first, and then try to pry apart the remote key fob.
Accurately try to open your keyless entry remote with flat head screwdriver. Change one CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with new one CR2032. Battery must be placed with the same polarity as was a previous. Your keyless entry remote will not work if you mistakenly place battery wrong way.
After the new battery installed, check keyless entry remote functionality by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your fob’s case in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Accurately try to put the pieces together by hands from top to bottom. Check your key fob case for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
