2014 Lincoln Navigator Key Fob Battery Replacement Instructions

Keyless entry remote grant access to your auto. When the remote key fob battery is discharged you will lose your keyless entry fob's ability to control distance opportunities. Changing battery in keyless entry remote require flat head screwdriver and 1xCR2032 battery. Prepare these materials and tools before opening and make sure to match the type of your keyless entry fob's batteries.- flat head screwdriver

Simple steps to replace the battery in your Navigator's keyless entry remote
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed tiny coin battery. Move the key out of the way if it is in the remote key fob.
Gently try to disassemble your fob with pry tools. Replace one CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Get new battery and install it in fob’s case. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
When the new battery installed, verify keyless entry remote by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your keyless entry fob's case in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Carefully try to assemble the pieces in place by hands from top to bottom. Check your keyless entry remote shell for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
