How to Open Your 2014 Mazda CX-7 Key Fob and Change Battery

If your Mazda keyless entry remote is no longer unlock doors correct, the cell battery surely needs to be replaced. In this case, we are going to tell you how to disassembly your key fob and change a discharged battery DIY. If you decide to do it at home near CX-7, follow our instruction, but first make sure you have everything you need before you start.
What type battery key fob use
Prior to open keyless entry remote be sure that you have all required tools and materials: flat head screwdriver and CR2032 batteries.- flat head screwdriver
- 2xCR2032 batteries
Step by step instruction
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed tiny coin cell battery. Remove any internal key before you try to pry apart the remote key fob.
Accurately try to open your key with hands or flat head screwdriver. Remove CR2032 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new batteries inside fob’s shell. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check polarity on battery, by "+" mark.
After the new batteries installed, verify keyless entry remote by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your keyless entry fob's body in reverse order.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your shell two halves together and put it together by hands from top to bottom. If your key case firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
