Simple steps to change the battery in your car's keyless entry remote
A tiny button cell battery installed in the your keyless entry remote. Remove any internal key before you try to pry apart the remote key fob.
Accurately try to disassemble your key fob with pry tools. Change CR2032 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old batteries with fresh one CR2032. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
Before assembling fob’s case, check that everything is functioning by pressing buttons on keyless entry remote.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Delicately try to put the two halves in place by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your keyless entry remote body for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
