How to Replace the Battery in a 2014 Mitsubishi i-MiEV Key Fob

Remote key fob allow easy access to your car. When the key fob battery is weak you lose your fob’s ability to control remote functions. Before going to open key fob check all that you need: one CR1620 battery and flat head screwdriver.- 1xCR1620 battery

Step by step guide
Inside of your remote key fob installed tiny coin cell battery. Move the key out of the way if it is in the remote key fob.
Gently try to disassemble your key with hands or flat head screwdriver. Remove one CR1620 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with fresh one CR1620. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
After the new battery installed, check keyless entry remote by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your fob’s shell in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Delicately try to assemble the two halves together by hands from top to bottom. If your key case tightly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
