Simple steps to change the battery in your Lancer's key fob
Inside of your key fob installed tiny button battery. Remove any internal key first, and then try to pry apart the key fob.
Accurately try to pry apart your fob with pry tools. Change 2xCR2032 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Change old batteries with fresh one CR2032. Battery must be placed with the same position as was a previous. Your keyless entry remote will not work if you by mistake put battery wrong way.
Before assembling fob’s case, check that all functions works by pressing buttons on circuit board.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Gently try to assemble the pieces in place by hands from top to bottom. If your fob body tightly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
