Before you start to open key fob check all that you need: flat head screwdriver and one CR2025 battery.- 1xCR2025 battery

Simple steps to change the battery in your car's key fob
A coin cell battery installed in the your key fob. Move the key out of the way if it is in the key fob.
Gently try to open your keyless entry remote with flat head screwdriver. Remove CR2025 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with new one CR2025. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your key will not work if you place battery wrong way.
When the new battery installed, verify key fob by pressing buttons. If everything working properly, assemble your fob’s body in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Gently try to assemble the pieces together by hands from top to bottom. Check your keyless entry remote body for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
