How to Replace the Battery in a 2014 Porsche Boxster Key Fob

Remote key fob grant easy access to your car. If the key battery is weak or dead you lose your fob’s ability to control distance functions. It's not complicated to replace the battery in your remote key fob, and it’s easier than you think. All tools, that you need is described in this post.
What is the battery remote key fob require
Before starting open remote key fob make sure that you have all recommended tools and materials: 1 CR2032 battery and flat head screwdriver.- 1xCR2032 battery
- flat head screwdriver
Step by step instruction
A small button cell battery installed inside the your remote key fob. Remove any internal key first, and then try to pry apart the remote key fob.
Carefully try to open your key with hands or flat head screwdriver. Change CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with new one CR2032. Battery must be placed with the same position as was an old. Your key will not work if you by mistake put battery wrong way.
After the new battery installed, check key fob functionality by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your keyless entry fob's shell in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Delicately try to put the pieces in place by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your fob body for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
