Before beginning disassembly keyless entry remote check all that you need: one CR1620 battery and flat head screwdriver.- flat head screwdriver
- 1xCR1620 battery
Simple steps to change the battery in your Tribeca's keyless entry remote
Inside of your remote key fob installed button cell battery. Delicately try to disassemble your fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Replace one CR1620 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Get new battery and install it in keyless entry fob's shell. Battery must be placed with the same polarity as was an old. Your keyless entry remote will not work if you mistakenly place battery wrong way.
When the new battery installed, check remote key fob functionality by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s body in reverse order.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your body pieces together and put it in place by hands from top to bottom. Check your remote key fob shell for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
