Replacing battery in remote key fob require 1 CR2016 battery and flat head screwdriver. Prepare these materials and tools before opening and make sure to match the type of your fob’s batteries.- flat head screwdriver

Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's remote key fob
Inside of your key fob installed small coin battery. Remove any internal key before you try to pry apart the keyless entry remote.
Delicately try to disassemble your remote key fob with pry tools. Change 1xCR2016 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with new one CR2016. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your key fob will not work if you place battery wrong way.
After the new battery installed, check key fob functionality by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your fob’s case in reverse order.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your case pieces together and assemble it in place by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your remote key fob body for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
