How to Replace the Battery in a 2014 Volvo XC90 Key Fob

Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's remote key fob
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed small button cell battery. Remove any internal key before you try to pry apart the keyless entry remote.
Gently try to open your key with flat head screwdriver. Change 1xCR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with new one CR2032. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
When the new battery installed, check remote key fob functionality by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s case in reverse order.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your shell pieces together and assemble it together by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your remote key fob shell for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
