Before you start to open key fob check all that you need: CR2032 battery, phillips head screwdriver and flat head screwdriver.- phillips head screwdriver

Simple steps to replace the battery in your Ram's remote key fob
Inside of your remote key fob installed tiny button battery. Remove any internal key before you try to pry apart the keyless entry remote. Remove fasteners on the back of the keyless entry remote. Flip the remote key fob over and look for at least 1 fastener holding in the plastic.
Carefully try to open your fob with pry tools. Replace 1xCR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with fresh one CR2032. Battery must be installed with the same polarity as was an old. Your key fob will not work if you by mistake place battery wrong way.
Before assembling keyless entry fob's case, check that all functions works by pressing buttons on remote key fob.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Carefully try to put the pieces together by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your keyless entry remote shell for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step. Screw fastener in the back of the remote key fob.
