Simple steps to replace the battery in your 500's remote key fob
Inside of your remote key fob installed tiny button cell battery. Move the key out of the way if it is in the keyless entry remote.
Delicately try to pry apart your fob with flat head screwdriver. Change 1xCR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with new one CR2032. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
When the new battery installed, verify keyless entry remote by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s case in reverse order.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your body two halves together and assemble it together by hands from top to bottom. Check your fob shell for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
