Before beginning open remote key fob check all that you need: 1xCR2032 battery and flat head screwdriver.- flat head screwdriver

Simple steps to replace the battery in your Terrain's keyless entry remote
Inside of your key fob installed tiny button cell battery. Open key first, and then try to pry apart the remote key fob.
Delicately try to open your remote key fob with pry tools. Change one CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with fresh one CR2032. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your key will not work if you place battery wrong way.
After the new battery installed, check key fob by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your keyless entry fob's shell in reverse order.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your shell pieces together and put it together by hands from top to bottom. If your remote key fob shell firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
