How to Replace the Battery in a 2015 Honda Odyssey Key Fob
Keyless entry remote allow access to your Odyssey. If the keyless entry remote battery is weak or dead you will lose your fob’s ability to control distance functions. It's not complicated to change the battery in your keyless entry remote, and it’s easier than you think. Everything you need is outlined in this post.
What type battery remote key fob use
Before you start to open keyless entry remote be sure that you have all required tools and materials: flat head screwdriver and one CR2032 battery.- flat head screwdriver
- 1xCR2032 battery
Simple steps to replace the battery in your Odyssey's key fob
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed small button cell battery. Open the key if it is in the key fob.
Accurately try to disassemble your key fob with pry tools. Change CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with new one CR2032. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
After the new battery installed, check keyless entry remote by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s case in reverse order.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your shell pieces together and assemble it in place by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your keyless entry remote shell for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
