How to Replace the Battery in a 2015 Mazda 5 Key Fob

If your auto key isn't unlock doors properly, the battery most likely must to be replaced. In this post, we demonstrate how to disassembly your car remote key fob and replace a dead battery DIY. If you decide to do it at home near 5, follow our instruction, but don't forget to check everything you need before you start.
What type battery remote key fob use
Before starting open keyless entry remote be sure that you have all recommended tools and materials: flat head screwdriver and 1xCR1620 battery.- 1xCR1620 battery

Step by step instruction
Inside of your key fob installed tiny button cell battery. Move the key out of the way if it is in the key fob.
Accurately try to disassemble your key with flat head screwdriver. Change CR1620 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with fresh one CR1620. Battery must be installed with the same polarity as was a previous. Your keyless entry remote will not work if you mistakenly place battery wrong way.
Before assembling keyless entry fob's case, check that all working fine by pressing buttons on circuit board.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Gently try to put the pieces in place by hands from top to bottom. Check your key shell for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
