Simple steps to replace the battery in your GT-R's keyless entry remote
A coin cell battery installed in the your keyless entry remote. Remove any internal key first, and then try to pry apart the key fob.
Delicately try to pry apart your remote key fob with pry tools. Remove 1 CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with fresh one CR2032. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check polarity on battery, by "+" mark.
When the new battery installed, verify keyless entry remote by pressing buttons. If everything working fine, assemble your keyless entry fob's body in reverse order.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your body pieces together and put it together by hands from top to bottom. Check your keyless entry remote body for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
