Before going to disassembly keyless entry remote make sure that you have all required tools and materials: 1xCR2025 battery and flat head screwdriver.- 1xCR2025 battery

Step by step guide
Inside of your remote key fob installed button cell battery. Move the key out of the way if it is in the remote key fob.
Gently try to pry apart your remote key fob with pry tools. Remove CR2025 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with new one CR2025. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your key fob will not work if you connect battery wrong way.
After the new battery installed, verify key fob by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s body in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Carefully try to assemble the two halves together by hands from top to bottom. Check your key fob body for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
