Changing battery in key fob require flat head screwdriver and one CR2032 battery. Prepare these materials and tools before opening and make sure to match the size of your fob’s batteries.- flat head screwdriver

Simple steps to replace the battery in your Legacy's key fob
Inside of your remote key fob installed button cell battery. Remove any internal key first, and then try to pry apart the remote key fob.
Carefully try to open your key fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Replace 1 CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery in keyless entry fob's body. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
Before assembling fob’s case, verify that all functions works by testing buttons on circuit board.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Gently try to put the pieces together by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your key shell for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
