Simple steps to replace the battery in your Yaris's remote key fob
A tiny coin battery installed inside the your key fob. Remove any internal key before you try to pry apart the keyless entry remote.
Accurately try to pry apart your key with hands or flat head screwdriver. Change CR2016 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with fresh one CR2016. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
Before assembling fob’s case, verify that everything working good by testing buttons on keyless entry remote.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your shell pieces together and put it in place by hands from top to bottom. If your key fob body firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
