Simple steps to change the battery in your car's key fob
A small button cell battery installed in the your keyless entry remote. Move the key out of the way if it is in the key fob.
Accurately try to pry apart your key with hands or flat head screwdriver. Remove two CR2430 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new batteries in fob’s shell. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your keyless entry remote will not work if you put battery wrong way.
Before assembling keyless entry fob's case, check that all functions works by testing buttons on remote key fob.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Gently try to put the pieces in place by hands from top to bottom. If your keyless entry remote body tightly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
