Step by step guide
Inside of your key fob installed button cell battery. Open the key if it is in the remote key fob.
Accurately try to open your key fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Replace 1 CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Get new battery and install it in fob’s body. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your key will not work if you place battery wrong way.
When the new battery installed, verify keyless entry remote functionality by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s shell in reverse order.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your shell pieces together and put it together by hands from top to bottom. Check your keyless entry remote body for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
