Before going to disassembly remote key fob be sure that you have all recommended tools and materials: 1 CR2032 battery and flat head screwdriver.- flat head screwdriver

Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's key fob
Inside of your key fob installed small button cell battery. Open key first, and then try to pry apart the keyless entry remote.
Gently try to disassemble your key fob with flat head screwdriver. Replace CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with fresh one CR2032. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your remote key fob will not work if you place battery wrong way.
Before assembling keyless entry fob's case, make sure that all functions works by testing buttons on circuit board.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your case pieces together and put it in place by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your fob shell for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
