2016 Dodge Charger Key Fob Battery Replacement Guide

Before starting disassembly keyless entry remote make sure that you have all recommended tools and materials: flat head screwdriver, phillips head screwdriver and 1xCR2032 battery.- 1xCR2032 battery

Simple steps to change the battery in your Charger's key fob
A coin battery installed in the your keyless entry remote. Remove any internal key first, and then try to pry apart the keyless entry remote. Unscrew the back of the remote key fob. Flip the remote key fob over and find for at least one screw holding in the plastic.
Gently try to open your key fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Replace 1xCR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Get new battery and install it inside keyless entry fob's body. Battery must be placed with the same polarity as was a previous. Your key fob will not work if you mistakenly place battery wrong way.
Before assembling keyless entry fob's case, make sure that all is functioning by pressing buttons on remote key fob.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Accurately try to put the two halves in place by hands from top to bottom. If your remote key fob body firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step. Screw fastener in the back of the keyless entry remote.
