Simple steps to change the battery in your Flex's keyless entry remote
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed small coin battery. Move the key out of the way if it is in the remote key fob.
Gently try to pry apart your keyless entry remote with hands or flat head screwdriver. Replace one CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with new one CR2032. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check polarity on battery, by "+" mark.
When the new battery installed, check keyless entry remote functionality by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your keyless entry fob's body in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Gently try to put the two halves in place by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your remote key fob body for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
