How to Replace the Battery in a 2016 Ford Fusion Key Fob

Step by step guide
Inside of your remote key fob installed small coin cell battery. Remove any internal key first, and then try to pry apart the key fob.
Delicately try to pry apart your key fob with pry tools. Replace 2xCR2025 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old batteries with fresh one CR2025. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your remote key fob will not work if you place battery wrong way.
When the new batteries installed, check key fob by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s shell in reverse order.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your case pieces together and put it together by hands from top to bottom. Check your keyless entry remote shell for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
