Simple steps to replace the battery in your Tucson's key fob
A tiny coin cell battery installed inside the your remote key fob. Move the key out of the way if it is in the keyless entry remote.
Accurately try to disassemble your keyless entry remote with hands or flat head screwdriver. Remove CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Get new battery and install it in keyless entry fob's shell. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check polarity on battery, by "+" mark.
After the new battery installed, check keyless entry remote by pressing buttons. If everything working good, assemble your fob’s body in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Gently try to assemble the pieces together by hands from top to bottom. Check your keyless entry remote body for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
