2016 Kia K900 Key Fob Battery Replacement Instructions

If your Kia key is not open doors correct, the cell battery more likely needs to be changed. In this case, we demonstrate how to open your car remote key fob and replace a dead or weak battery DIY. Prior to disassembly key fob check all that you need: flat head screwdriver and 1xCR2032 battery.- 1xCR2032 battery

Simple steps to change the battery in your K900's keyless entry remote
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed tiny button battery. Remove any internal key before you try to pry apart the remote key fob.
Delicately try to disassemble your remote key fob with pry tools. Replace one CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Get new battery and install it in keyless entry fob's body. Battery must be installed with the same position as was a previous. Your keyless entry remote will not work if you by mistake put battery wrong way.
When the new battery installed, check remote key fob by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your fob’s case in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Delicately try to assemble the two halves together by hands from top to bottom. Check your key shell for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
