Simple steps to change the battery in your car's remote key fob
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed small button battery. Remove any internal key first, and then try to pry apart the remote key fob.
Carefully try to pry apart your key with pry tools. Remove CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery inside fob’s shell. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your key fob will not work if you put battery wrong way.
After the new battery installed, verify remote key fob by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s shell in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Carefully try to assemble the two halves in place by hands from top to bottom. Check your remote key fob body for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
