Step by step guide
A small button cell battery installed inside the your key fob. Remove any internal key first, and then try to pry apart the remote key fob.
Delicately try to disassemble your fob with flat head screwdriver. Change CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Get new battery and install it in fob’s body. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
After the new battery installed, check key fob functionality by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your keyless entry fob's body in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Delicately try to put the two halves in place by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your key case for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
