Step by step guide
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed coin battery. Remove any internal key before you try to pry apart the remote key fob.
Carefully try to pry apart your key with flat head screwdriver. Remove 1 CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Get new battery and install it inside keyless entry fob's body. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
After the new battery installed, check remote key fob functionality by pressing buttons. If everything working properly, assemble your fob’s case in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Carefully try to assemble the two halves together by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your key fob case for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
