Simple steps to change the battery in your Tundra's keyless entry remote
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed coin cell battery. Move the key out of the way if it is in the keyless entry remote.
Delicately try to disassemble your remote key fob with pry tools. Replace 1 CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery inside keyless entry fob's body. Battery must be placed with the same position as was a previous. Your key will not work if you mistakenly put battery wrong way.
When the new battery installed, check keyless entry remote functionality by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your keyless entry fob's case in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Carefully try to assemble the pieces in place by hands from top to bottom. If your remote key fob case tightly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
