Simple steps to change the battery in your Yaris's keyless entry remote
A coin cell battery installed inside the your key fob. Remove any internal key first, and then try to pry apart the remote key fob.
Gently try to disassemble your key with flat head screwdriver. Remove CR2025 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery inside fob’s shell. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check polarity on battery, by "+" mark.
Before assembling fob’s case, make sure that all functions works by testing buttons on keyless entry remote.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your case pieces together and assemble it in place by hands from top to bottom. If your key shell tightly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
