Simple steps to change the battery in your car's remote key fob
A coin battery installed inside the your keyless entry remote. Open key first, and then try to pry apart the keyless entry remote.
Accurately try to pry apart your remote key fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Change one CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with new one CR2032. Battery must be placed with the same position as was a previous. Your key will not work if you mistakenly place battery wrong way.
Before assembling fob’s case, make sure that all functions works by testing buttons on circuit board.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Gently try to assemble the two halves in place by hands from top to bottom. Check your key fob shell for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
