Step by step instruction
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed button cell battery. Open key first, and then try to pry apart the key fob.
Accurately try to open your key with flat head screwdriver. Remove 1 CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Get new battery and install it in keyless entry fob's shell. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
After the new battery installed, verify key fob by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your keyless entry fob's shell in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Gently try to assemble the two halves in place by hands from top to bottom. If your fob case firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
