How to Open Your 2017 Chevrolet Suburban Key Fob & Change Battery

If your auto keyless entry remote isn't unlock doors properly, the battery more likely needs to be changed. Below, we explained how to disassembly your remote key fob and replace your Chevrolet key battery step by step.
What kind of battery remote key fob require
Before starting open keyless entry remote check all that you need: flat head screwdriver and CR2032 battery.- flat head screwdriver
- 1xCR2032 battery
Step by step guide
Inside of your key fob installed tiny button battery. Open the key if it is in the key fob.
Delicately try to disassemble your fob with flat head screwdriver. Change 1xCR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery in fob’s shell. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your key will not work if you put battery wrong way.
After the new battery installed, verify remote key fob functionality by pressing buttons. If everything working good, assemble your keyless entry fob's case in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Delicately try to put the two halves together by hands from top to bottom. If your remote key fob body tightly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
