2017 Dodge Journey Key Fob Battery Replacement Instructions
If your car key fob is no longer unlock doors perfectly, the cell battery likely must to be replaced. In this article, we demonstrate how to open Dodge keyless entry remote and change a discharged battery DIY. If you choose to do it at home near Journey, use this instruction, but first make sure you have everything you need before you start.

Step by step instruction
A tiny button battery installed in the your key fob. Move the key out of the way if it is in the keyless entry remote. Remove screw on the back of the remote key fob. Flip the remote key fob over and look for at least one screw holding in the plastic.
Accurately try to pry apart your key with hands or flat head screwdriver. Remove CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Get new battery and install it inside fob’s case. Battery must be placed with the same polarity as was a previous. Your key will not work if you by mistake place battery wrong way.
Before assembling keyless entry fob's case, verify that everything is functioning by testing buttons on circuit board.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your case pieces together and assemble it in place by hands from top to bottom. If your fob body tightly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step. Screw the back of the keyless entry remote.
