Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's keyless entry remote
A tiny coin cell battery installed inside the your key fob. Move the key out of the way if it is in the remote key fob.
Accurately try to pry apart your key fob with flat head screwdriver. Replace CR2025 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Get new batteries and install it in keyless entry fob's body. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
When the new batteries installed, verify key fob by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s body in reverse order.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your case two halves together and put it together by hands from top to bottom. If your keyless entry remote case firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
