Simple steps to replace the battery in your Accord's key fob
Inside of your key fob installed small button cell battery. Open key first, and then try to pry apart the key fob.
Gently try to pry apart your key with flat head screwdriver. Change 1xCR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Get new battery and install it in keyless entry fob's body. Battery must be placed with the same polarity as was an old. Your keyless entry remote will not work if you mistakenly place battery wrong way.
When the new battery installed, verify keyless entry remote functionality by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s shell in reverse order.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your body two halves together and assemble it in place by hands from top to bottom. If your fob shell tightly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
