Simple steps to change the battery in your Range Rover Evoque's key fob
Inside of your key fob installed coin cell battery. Remove any internal key before you try to pry apart the remote key fob.
Gently try to disassemble your keyless entry remote with hands or flat head screwdriver. Replace one CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery inside keyless entry fob's shell. Battery must be installed with the same polarity as was a previous. Your key will not work if you by mistake put battery wrong way.
After the new battery installed, check keyless entry remote by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s case in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Gently try to assemble the two halves together by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your fob case for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
