Step by step instruction
A button cell battery installed inside the your key fob. Remove any internal key first, and then try to pry apart the remote key fob.
Delicately try to disassemble your fob with pry tools. Remove 1xCR1632 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery in keyless entry fob's shell. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
When the new battery installed, check keyless entry remote functionality by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s shell in reverse order.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your case pieces together and assemble it in place by hands from top to bottom. If your keyless entry remote body tightly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
